Integrated logistics support (ILS) is where the rubber meets the road. It is an all-encompassing, life-cycle evolution that ultimately enables the end-user to effectively use a reliable product. In the initial design phase, long before a system is fielded, CORTEK system engineers begin applying the tenants of ILS.
We are highly experienced at developing Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP). We lay out the steps for maintenance, manpower and facilities requirements, man-machine interface, training formats, test procedures, etc.. In addition, we demonstrate how these activities relate to each other and to the overall life cycle of a product from its very beginning stages. This, in turn, enables efficient life cycle management on the tail end.
CORTEK understands that logistics is all about the customer. We use the approach of continuous customer feedback throughout ILS. Spiral development and rapidly changing mission requirements require conducting periodic end-user working group conferences to ensure that the logistics elements are appropriately honed at the various stages of the system’s development and fielding.
