Mr. Brown is a Department of Defense certified senior acquisition manager with over 40 years of experience working with high technology systems including more than 34 years of hands-on acquisition management experience. He is proficient in all aspects of program, acquisition, and general management; research and development; and test and evaluation. Mr. Brown is Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certified in Program Management and Test and Evaluation.
Mr. Brown held various Air and Missile Defense Artillery and Acquisition Corps assignments while on active duty in the Army. Following his retirement from active duty, Mr. Brown became a defense contractor working for Camber Corporation followed by employment with EG&G/URS/AECOM. While at Camber, Mr. Brown provided direct support to the Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) at Fort Belvoir and subsequently became the Vice President and Operations Manager for Camber’s Fort Belvoir, Pentagon and Marine Corps support efforts. While at EG&G/URS/AECOM, Mr. Brown served as the Operations Manager for Marine Corps and NVESD programs to include the Humanitarian Demining Research and Development Program, PM Marine Intel, Marine Corps Common Hardware Suite, PM Advanced Amphibious Assault, JPM MRAP, and PdM Engineer Systems.
Mr. Brown earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Gonzaga University and a Master’s degree in Human Experimental Psychology from Bowling Green State University.
